As the Business and Network Rates Analyst, It'll be your job to act as the business rates expert for Virgin Media O2.

Within this role is super important that you build lasting relationships with the valuation office, external advisers and key collaborators within the business.

This will involve you working with internal and external parties on network valuation rates, and as property rates. You'll ensure accuracy of ratings, financial data as well as reporting.

We'd love you to have experience of improving initiatives and spotting opportunities that'll reduce business rate costs and liability!

Within the wider Finance Transformation team, there is also some super exciting opportunities to get involved in various projects, that are outside the remit of Ratings.

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Proven experience in Excel, specifically experience using Macros, look ups, pivot tables

  • A background in Managing stakeholder relationships

  • Part qualified accountant, or a history of working within an accountancy environment

  • Financial modelling experience

  • Confident communicator, at all levels

  • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to think creatively and look for new and innovative ways of doing things

  • Quick learner, self sufficient

  • An eye for detail
