The Principal Change Analyst utilises a broad skillset to deliver change on a range of different types of initiatives. The Principal Change Analyst may perform one of the following roles; (i) stream-lead role on a programme, (ii) leading a stand-alone project, or (iii) being in charge of a key piece of complex analysis or design work. They will have significant experience across multiple disciplines of change e.g. business analysis, project management, process improvement, and change adoption & testing.

On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Business Analyst - Treasury Operations to work in their Treasury team based in London on a PAYE basis.


We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to be based in London with a background in Treasury / Treasury Operations to support the Global Treasury IBOR transition project. The team is responsible for cash funding and managing funding movements. The candidate not only support with the reporting of daily funding requirements for the business but will also ensure currency positions are covered correctly. Additionally, you will be responsible for reconciling Money Market cash positions and processing all relevant cash payments. The analyst will also get involved in supporting the IBOR programme supporting any project deliverables, process improvements and contributing to strategic change across the operations function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Elicits, challenges, and prioritizes business requirements around Treasury's Operations funding strategy across IBOR products and currencies offered as well as assisting in defining back bone transition.
  • Assists in developing implementation/conversion strategy and implementation plan.
  • Gathers and analyzes information and develops recommendations to address major business objectives that span multiple, global business and technology areas.
  • Supports testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems and provides guidance to junior team members on complex testing tasks including case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution.
  • Provide middle and back office support for cash, investments and FX Onboarding and settlements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced Business Analyst with excellent academic record and qualifications with up to 8 - 10 years' work experience as a business analyst with direct experience of Financial Markets & Treasury products and systems.
  • Experience in working with or as part of a Treasury Operations/Cash Management function
  • Previous in-depth experience using a Treasury Management systems
  • Core understanding of the bank account opening process, including preparing forms/letters related to bank account documentation (i.e. KYC, Letter of Direction)
  • Knowledge of Benchmark Regulation or IBOR rates
