You will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager to deliver all aspect of planned works to residents in their homes.,

  • Carry out a variety of surveys, write technical specifications and give advice when needed to both colleagues and residents.

  • Ensure planned maintenance programmes are being delivered within agreed timescales and to budget.

  • Prepare scheme designs for planned/refurbishment projects with costs, programmes for competition of projects and specification of works.

  • Identify and analyse building defects.

  • Prepare planning applications as required for works to existing buildings and respond to planning consultations for neighbouring and adjoining properties.

  • Comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Candidate Description

  • Extensive surveying experience.

  • Social housing experience.

  • Ability to write detailed reports.

  • Understanding of various contracts (JCT, NEC).
