The applicant will benefit from an understanding of Orthopaedic footwear terminology with previous experience a positive advantage.
The forming of a closed upper on to a last/cast. Experience preferred.
This will involve: -
Working with hand tools /measuring devices
Working on roughing machines /band saws /pillar drills/heating equipment
Plus, other machines
Working to manipulate wet and dry materials of man made and natural fibres.
Leather /E.V.A / P.V.C / Rubber / cork / Plaster of Paris ,Man-made fibres
The applicant should have-
Good hand eye coordination
Be able to work in a safe way.
