Please note this is a hybrid position so we are interested in hearing from applicants who can consider either Reading, Hammersmith, Birmingham, or Manchester as a base location for one day a week. As an Automation Test Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, ever evolving, fun and friendly environment. It'll be your job to ensure smooth test processes and that testing frameworks are robust and reliable.
You'll be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and issues on newly developed features as well as confirming the stability of established systems. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and good communication skills.
Ideally, you'll have a background in test automation at a UI and API level and have been working within an Agile and Angular stack environment.

Working in a collaborative team, you'll work with multiple partners across the business including development partners/vendors to improve the overall testing cycle as well as, ensuring accurate test environments and infrastructures are in place and kept up to date.
It is your responsibility to assist with tests plan articulation, planning and the management of the testing events cycle and promote best practice in Quality assurance and testing. On top of this we want you to build robust and flexible tests, balancing automation, and manual exploratory testing to help make product engineering as scalable and risk free as possible.
Experience in performing automation testing at UI and API level
Demonstrable hands-on experience with Cypress.
Hands-on background working in an Agile environment
Basic understanding of DevOps principles
Other stuff we're looking for:
An awareness of security risks within software engineering patterns
Experience of Angular Framework
Exposure to a range of testing tools including Percy, and Postman
