As an Associate UX Designer you will be responsible for supporting product design, as well as customer research, to establish key teacher and student problems to solve. Working closely with developers and product managers you will bring designs to life.

In addition to product design, you will collaborate with UX team members to contribute to and grow the School's Design System to help us scale our design operations.

You will be part of the wider Digital Design team where you will contribute to a fun, enthusiastic and expert team environment., Please note that successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory background checks including DBS due to working in a regulated industry.

Candidate Description

You will be an inquisitive and collaborative designer who finds learning and pedagogy interesting. A keen eye for human-computer interaction design and appreciation of accessibility principles is preferred.

You will have an enthusiasm for UX Design but appreciate that our products are grounded in inclusivity and usability. You will have an understanding of visual design principles and be able to work closely with Dev-Eng teams to bring designs to life.

Our customers are at the heart of what we do, therefore you will support building research plans and customer engagement to define the problem space.

We use Figma to build and manage our Design System and design our products and services. We expect that you will be familiar with design tools, but it is preferred that you are confident using Figma and features such as autolayout and interactive components.
