Job Description
Cognizant is seeking a high-energy, dynamic, business-savvy communications professional to drive internal communications for the Global Growth Markets business unit. The Associate Director of Internal Communications will work closely with global and regional communications and business leaders to deliver communications that inform, inspire and engage our key internal audiences across the 30+ countries that comprise the Global Growth Markets.
You are an excellent writer and creative storyteller with a passion for employee communications and engagement. You have a knack for translating complex business strategy and technology trends into compelling narratives that inspire and engage. You are a strategic thinker who loves to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You know how to create and distribute content across a range of channels for maximum reach and impact. You use data and analytics to understand your audience and build your communications approach accordingly. You work effectively across teams and silos to find opportunities to make a bigger impact with communications.
This role reports to the Vice President, Communication, Global Growth Markets and will be a key member of the communications team,
Create and distribute communications that effectively informs, inspires and engages internal audiences with a focus on company strategy, business and organizational updates, client success stories, and employee recognition and engagement.
Segment and target audiences across multiple channels and formats, including text, digital, video, and live events.
Measure, analyze and report on the impact communications has on shifting employee sentiment and engagement
Collaborate with PR and other marketing teams to coordinate, integrate and amplify external communication among internal audiences.
Liaise with global communications colleagues to cascade global communications within the business unit and to represent Global Growth Markets in global internal comms planning
Candidate Description
Bachelor's Degree (Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or Marketing degree preferred)
Strong direct experience in corporate communications, public relations, internal or executive communications.
Excellent writing and content production skills
Experience working with senior business and thought leaders.
A creative thinker with experience with new and emerging trends across marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, and executive and employee communications.
Ability to lead, collaborate and influence in a matrixed organization with multiple project teams and timelines
Native English speaker required, other languages a plus.
