Our customer-centric Asda Business Services teams manage and transform end-to-end processes across Finance, Human Resources, Contact Centre and Procurement to keep our business running efficiently. We deliver customer support, manage colleague payroll, evolve how we work with data/systems and oversee supplier management. Continuous innovation is our focus. We strive to offer new and improved services to both our internal and external customers.
This programme is designed to help us shape the leaders and managers of the future. Alongside your rotations, you'll complete learning modules covering core principles such as problem-solving and initiative, effective use of tools and technology, resilience and flexibility, first class communication skills, collaboration and teamwork and lifelong learning. All of these modules will be delivered in a range of ways, from webinars and digital simulations through to team meets and on-the-job activities.
It's all about problem solving, working with others and developing a real understanding of the business context we operate in; while keeping our internal and external customers front of mind.
Having rotated through the areas, in year three, you can choose to specialise - so, for example, if you found out procurement was really your thing, you could go on to study for a Chartered Institute of Purchasing Level 4 qualification.
Of course, having a real interest in business is a bit of a given, but that doesn't mean you need to have any previous experience. A love of problem solving is the real super skill we're looking for. Someone who is curious, open to new ideas, enthusiastic and has the commitment needed to balance learning and working.
We're very open-minded about where you might be right now, but we do look for a minimum of 5 GCSE grades A to C or 9 to 4, including English and Maths.
