Job Description
Are you an Application Support Engineer, looking for a new exciting, very flexible role, at a leading charity?,
Assisting in the build, management, and running of the organisations Azure environment, the charity's Hosted applications; to ensure the supportability of their applications and the ongoing availability of services to allow their staff to be as productive as they can be.
Deputising for the Application Support Manager in Major Incidents and project support where appropriate, whilst also being a point of escalation for any technical issues encountered by the Systems Admins and external resolver teams.
Taking the lead on small projects and technology changes within the production environment, engaging with the change process and ensuring there is no unplanned impact to services.
Building and deployment of new services planned and designed by the design team, facilitating the implementation of changes as assigned by the Application Support Manager.
Providing recommendations on where services can be improved or costs to the society reduced either through improvement in working methods or with technology changes.
Candidate Description
Have excellent experience with Azure Administration
Have excellent experience with Scripting -PowerShell / Python
SQL experience
Understanding of core infrastructure services
Experience with Active Directory
To be able to work in team and work alone
Have a can-do attitude, a desire to learn new skills, whilst also bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the table
