The Anti-Money Laundering /Counter Terrorist Financing Policy & Advisory Team is responsible for maintaining the Ring-Fenced Bank's AML/CTF Policy and Standards and ensuring that the Policy and Standards reflect external legislation, regulatory requirements, industry practice and requirements issued by Grupo Santander. The Team engages with other Line 2 and Line 1 teams as well as business areas on interpreting internal AML/CTF policy requirements where advice is sought and manages waiver and dispensation requests against the AML/CTF Standards where appropriate.
As a second line of defence function, the team advises the first line of defence in respect of AML/CTF queries and escalations, legal and regulatory obligations and provides guidance on new, emerging, and current regulatory issues and developments.
In this role, you'll support the team in providing AML/CTF Policy & Advisory expertise across internal and external stakeholders and will work in partnership with other functions and business areas to ensure adherence to relevant Policies and Standards.
You'll support the development and maintenance of the Banks Financial Crime AML & CTF Policy and Standards, including supporting the implementation of AML/CTF Policies and Standards where applicable.

What you'll bring.
Experience of framework/policy/procedures drafting in a Compliance environment.
