This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Affiliate Manager to join a well-established internal digital team at Virgin Media on a 6 month fixed term contract and contribute to the growth within the partner network., You will work alongside a team of affiliate experts, reporting into Senior Performance Marketing Manager, while shaping the framework of how we approach affiliate advertising going forward.
A successful candidate will have a strong hands-on experience in planning, activating and optimising large scale affiliate campaigns. You are commercially aware and have a proven record of negotiating affiliate commissions and exposure. You are comfortable presenting campaign analysis to the wider team and making data driven decisions.
You will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver innovative acquisition campaigns that meet sales and commercial performance objectives. You will also work closely with internal teams, such as digital delivery, online sales and commercial.
Extensive hands on experience of working within AWIN or other affiliate networks
Understanding of affiliate tracking and ability to trouble shoot tracking issues yourself, as well as working together with the affiliate network
Experience in delivering large affiliate campaigns and using data to drive performance
Understanding of affiliate paid search activity
Experience in conducting A/B testing for affiliate landing pages
Other stuff we're looking for:
Knowledge of API or product feeds
Experience launching new products in the affiliate channel
Knowledge of ISP/telecoms industry
Implement strategies to drive more acquisition while keeping to a healthy ROI
Experience in analysing large sets of data to identify retrospective and future trends
Experience in forecasting and budgeting
Ability to work in an agile environment with a fast moving digital team
Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar role,
Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail
Ability/desire to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly
Ability/desire to work remotely while still staying connected to the immediate and wider teams
Desire to be at the forefront of digital marketing
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
