We are currently recruiting for an Administrator for our Higher Education client based in South Kensington. The role is 9-5 Monday to Friday and has the possibility to become hybrid once full trained. This is a temporary role, starting ASAP until the end of December 2022, pay £19.49ph.
Duties include: General administrative duties including answering telephone calls and emails from students, co-ordinating with different teams, raising purchase orders and using college systems such as Excel.
Proven numerical and accounting competency
Experience of working effectively under pressure to tight deadlines Strong IT skills including the use of MS Office 365 applications (especially with Excel) Ability to work in a complex financial environment Accuracy and attention to detail: an ability to input data accurately and review thoroughly Effective verbal and written communications skills and an ability to relate to staff and students at all levels Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload Financial management and analysis skills A high degree of tact and diplomacy and on occasions, managing challenging conversations with students Customer service skills and experience of providing a customer focussed service
Experience of working within a Higher Education environment Experience using a CRM: understands its capabilities and how to use it to progress the work of DAS e.g., building reports and dashboards to manage case work or for reporting purposes Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative, seeking advice from colleagues where necessary Previous experience of identifying problems and finding innovative solutions to administrative tasks
