Adecco are delighted to be partnering with a company based in Wimbledon on the recruitment need for a part time Accounts Assistant who will be supporting the Financial Controller and the Accounts Manager

Specific Role and Tasks

  • Timely and Accurate maintenance of all aspects of the Purchase Ledger including:

  • Issuing purchase orders and checking against invoices received

  • Entering all Purchase Ledger Invoices

  • Maintain Supplier records

  • Dealing with supplier statements and queries

  • Analysing company credit cards and processing invoices

  • Processing payments and on the On-line banking system

  • Daily bank reconciliation by running off daily bank statement ensuring all entries accurately logged to reflect the true position.

  • Assisting with the Sales Ledger function including:

  • raising sales invoices for the UK crewing company

  • Entering payments received by Bacs, cheques and credit cards

  • month end closures

  • Dealing with customer queries and passing them onto the relevant person

  • Raising credit notes

  • Invoice discounting payments and mechanism

  • Accruals

  • Fixed assets postings
