Job Description

As part of the Santander Group Reporting team, reporting to the Senior Manager you'll support in the coordination and preparation of the monthly, half yearly and year end reporting processes between SanUK, Santander Madrid and Finance teams across the Santander Group.

You'll work with Technical Reporting and Intervention General to implement technical accounting and financial reporting solutions to the companies and divisions across the Santander UK Group.

• Coordinating the Santander UK monthly reporting processes

• Reporting to Santander Group MI Consolidation Team

• Preparing segmental balance sheets for UK and Spain

• Preparing Group Annual Account disclosures

• Producing the Annual Annexes for Intervention General

• Coordinating and reviewing new transactions ensuring full disclosure requirements are met

Candidate Description

• Either working towards or already a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA) with experience working in a finance / cost function environment is essential

• Proven knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis with the ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material

  It would also be nice for you to have.

• Experience of leading financial analysis and forecasting the develop of revenue and cost models is desirable

• Strong experience in Business Intelligence / Visualisation tools for creation of MI reports

• Track record of handling projects and developing information systems

• The ability to work to tight deadlines
