We're on the lookout for an Account Manager (AM) to join our team in Virgin Media Business (VMB), covering a vast array of medium/large enterprise accounts across Retail, Finance, hospitality and many more!

As the Account Manager, you will drive the strategic direction for a defined set of high net value accounts, with responsibility for owning the operational management and development of customer relationships with a view to delivering against the Vertical and Regional strategy for these customers.

The AM will represent the entire range of VMO2 services and products to assigned accounts. You will be accountable for annualised revenue growth, through development of excellent, high level, balanced customer relationships. Your collaboration is key, through the formation and management of virtual teams and successfully delivering against Net Promoter Score (NPS) objectives.

Candidate Description

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Ability to discuss previous success by driving new business through existing and emerging technologies.

  • Demonstrable sales and account management experience in a telco environment.

  • Ability to confidentially liaise with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

  • Strong data and UC skills across IP, DSL, Ethernet, MPLS, voice, collaboration, etc.

  • Ability to understand new products and the significance of market trends in the telecom sector for Medium to Large Enterprise accounts.

  • Ability to manage a virtual team in a Business to Business Sales environment.,

  • Experience and knowledge of the telecoms industry.

  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Windows essential.

  • Must be fully computer literate and be able to learn new systems quickly.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Showcase a strong commercial acumen and passion for sales.
