Job Description As a Production Technician you'll be based out of our clean water treatment sites, and will be responsible for completing electrical, mechanical and instrumental maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment. Each day, you'll conduct a maintenance routine schedule, ensuring our sites, storage facilities and pumping stations are operating reliably and efficiently. Alongside your team, you'll also help to manage the water treatment works and get involved in process improvements to guarantee health and safety, water quality and environmental standards at your sites. Travelling from place to place couldn't be easier as you'll be given a brand-new company van to drive to and from sites according to your schedule. You must have a full UK driving licence. Candidate Description To work safely and competently with the heavy equipment on site, you'll hold a full electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, or relevant HNC qualification or equivalent, such as City & Guilds Level 3. You'll also have demonstrable experience working with electrical/mechanical equipment in a similar process-driven environment. You don't need to have water sector experience. Broader utilities, brewery, FMCG, pharmaceutical or manufacturing backgrounds offer great transferable skills. As the service you'll provide is essential to the customer, you'll be comfortable participating in a standby rota to ensure someone's always on call if there's an operational issue.
