Are you a highly skilled Stress Engineer with a passion for high-performance applications? We're looking for three talented contract Stress Engineers to join our client, a leader in the aerospace industry. You'll play a crucial role in supporting critical projects within the automotive and F1 sectors, focusing on nacelle systems and non-turbo machinery components.

If you have a robust background in fatigue and stress analysis and can drive material definition and part lifing for demanding environments, we want to hear from you.

Locations: Derby, Inchinnan, Bristol

Contract : 12 months (Hybrid 3 days on site)

Salary/ Pay : 57 Pounds /HR Inside IR 35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed stress and fatigue calculations for nacelle and other structural components.
  • Support critical part lifing activities for components integrated into PW and GE systems.
  • Collaborate with material and design teams to define and validate new materials, incorporating crucial fatigue considerations.
  • Interpret and apply FEM results and hand calculations to rigorously assess structural integrity.
  • Document comprehensive analysis results and provide actionable technical recommendations.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, offering valuable input on stress-related design enhancements.
  • Adapt and transfer your existing skill sets to new and evolving applications and environments.
  • Work seamlessly within cross-functional teams across various disciplines.
